Hello world!
Another day in Hawaii!
We woke up today and got ready for the day! We went down to the restaurant to have our delicious breakfast. The food is so delicious! The stuffed french toast is so freakin delicious! The view at breakfast is better than what I imagined!
We shortly left for a short city tour, ur first day in our buses. We stopped at the capital and it was very detailed in its architecture. The palace was a beautiful place! The history of Hawaii is very interesting. Our bus driver is very knowledgeable and fun!
We then headed off to the Dole pineapple plantation! Most of us tried the pineapple whip, a frozen yogurt! Yum! Then we went to Haleiwa town. There we were able to shop and check out a lot of surfer shops. Many of us ate a delicious, huge burger with a pineapple slice on it! So much good food on this trip!
After we were full of that, we headed off to Sunset beach. The waves were so HUGE! We loved getting out to see the gorgeous view! There were even surfers out in the water, but the waves were too sloppy to actually surf.
Then we headed to the PCC, Polynesian Cultural Center. We got to see a few different shows about the different Polynesian islands. We loved the show at the island of Samoa! The guy was very funny. He made fire out of two sticks and then caught the coconut husk on fire. It was so amazing! Then we headed to dinner inside the PCC. We had a lot to choose from since it was a buffet. No one left hungry.
After dinner we got to watch a huge show called “Ha, Breath of Life”. It was a beautiful show about the life of a boy growing into a young man and then becoming a man. They showed all the different Polynesian cultures through the life of this man. The coolest part was the fire dancers at the end. The same guy from the Samoa show earlier was the main fire performer! They were so great!
After a long day of seeing lots of Hawaii we rode the bus back to our hotel. Some of us slept and some of us watched the movie 50 First Dates. We were all exhausted. One more day gone by, one more day in paradise!
